About the project
The third MATF Hackathon — a 24-hour programming competition held in person for the first time.
The Student Union of Mathematicians “SUM” organised the third MATF Hackathon on 8 and 9 April 2023, held in person at the Faculty of Mathematics for the first time.
The online qualification round took place on 2 April. The ten highest-ranked teams earned the opportunity to design, build and present a software solution to a real-world problem within 24 hours. Experienced IT professionals supported competitors through consultations, while teams were free to choose their technologies.
The competition encouraged knowledge, creativity, teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit. The top three teams received prizes worth 100,000, 60,000 and 40,000 dinars.
